Ms. Thelma Moore's Obituary
THELMA LOUISE BINKLEY MOORE
Lovingly known as Aunt Hemmie, age 92, of Pegram, Tennessee, passed from this life on September 1, 2018, at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City, Tennessee, where she had resided since May of this year. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Moore, Jr., by her son, Barry Wendell Moore, and sisters, Margeree Binkley Barnes, Ailene Binkley Elizer, Julia Binkley Kelley and LaNeda Binkley Mitchell; brothers, Hollis Binkley and Bill Binkley. They were all so proud of their father, Amos Noah Binkley, who, with his brother, Gale, were one of the earliest Opry performers known as The Binkley Brothers, Dixie Clodhoppers.
Thelma is survived by her son, Wesley John Moore, her sister, Madgelee Binkley Thomas, her nieces, Margeree Crabtree, Bobbie Reynolds and Ann Sullivan, and numerous other dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and loving extended family.
Thelma was a member of the Church of Christ. Our family is grateful for and indebted to the nurses of Avalon Hospice who assisted Aunt Thelma through her final days with such loving care.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11 AM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery has been entrusted with the final care of Ms. Moore. www.springhillfh.com
