Theresa Ann Wanke's Obituary
Theresa Ann Wanke, 86, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, sadly passed away April 20, 2024. She was born October 28, 1937, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Julian Manlove and Mary Elizabeth Manlove.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emil P. Wanke.
She is survived by her children, Angela (Steve) Wanke Ragan, Lisa Ann Dodd, and Mark (Christie) Emil Wanke; grandchildren Joshua Landon Litton, Brockton (Ashley) Emil Dodd, Chase Wanke, Breana (Joshua) Elizabeth Smith, Nicholas Ashton Dodd, and Samara Elise Wanke; and great-grandchildren Anderson Grace Smith, Leighton James Smith, and Landry Emilia Dodd.
Theresa was known for being a true Southern Belle that was very kind. She was a Nashville native. She loved country music. She met her true love, Emil, a soldier of Fort Campbell, swing dancing at the YMCA. They traveled all around the world and enjoyed experiencing foods and cultures. She had many hobbies that included crafting, bowling, and boating. Teresa had a special love for cooking and would always have a meal ready for her family at every holiday. Above all, Theresa adored her family. She would be there for them no matter what. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
