Mr. Thomas Joseph Birmingham's Obituary
Thomas J. Birmingham, age 84 of Hermitage passed away April 27, 2013. Thomas was a Korean War veteran, where he earned a Purple Heart and Korean Service Medal. He was also an avid Vandy fan. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving spouse of 47 years, Selenia Birmingham on March 20, 2013; parents, Edward and Nell Birmingham; and daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Tom Reed. He is survived by his children, Carol (Paul) Jasien, Erin (Rick) Wolf, Tim Birmingham, Kim (Mark) Ingle, Tisha Stanley, Shane Birmingham and Terri (Rusty) Davis; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 3rd at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with David Kitchen officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11 A.M.- 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross, Nashville Area Chapter, 2201 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203 or Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
