Mr. Thomas Vernon Bostetter's Obituary
Thomas Vernon Bostetter, 82, of Nashville, Tennessee (formerly of Kenosha, Wisconsin) passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at his home. Born March 13, 1939 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Chester Charles and Lorraine (née Munson) Bostetter.
Thomas served his country proudly in the Army National Guard. He retired from the Kenosha Police Department after 26 years of service. Mr. Bostetter loved spending time outdoors fishing, ice fishing, boating, water skiing, or golfing. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He had an affinity for history, specifically war history, a passion which he shared in his book entitled ‘Two Days at Shiloh’ that was published in September of 2000.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Terry Ann Bostetter; sister-in-law Barbara Bostetter.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Elizabeth Bostetter; daughters Amy (Gene) Corrigan and Rachel (Terry) Thuemling; son Joseph (Amy) Bostetter; stepdaughters Christine Gosbee, Donna Boutilier, and Yvonne Turgeon; sister Nadaene (Donn, Sr.) Loeffler; brothers Charles Bostetter and Michael (Deborah) Bostetter; grandchildren Hunter Corrigan, Ethan (Arizona) Corrigan, Kiara (Angel) Farias, Esmé & Isla Thuemling, Amanda (George) Berlingeri, Ryan (Penny) Corrigan, and Mandee Moss; great grandchildren Leigha Corrigan & Vince Berlingeri, Destiny, Alex, Aschlyn & Blakely Corrigan, Isabelle & Alayah Farias; and a host of nieces and nephews.
