Kevin Brady
Coach Collier entered my life when I desperately needed a strong and positive male influence in my life. Although I wasn't a superstar player, he made me a better player and taught me that hard work reaps great rewards. Under Coach, I became a starter and a very solid player and feel I contributed greatly to him winning his first NIL Coach of the Year my Senior Year. We weren't blessed with great talent but we wanted to go beyond our physical abilities for him. He treated us with respect and was a player's coach. I cherish my having the honor and privilege of playing for Coach as well as calling him my friend. I always wanted to play him 1 on 1 and he declined saying "Brady, I can beat you with my good arm tied behind my back". We never played. I guess he knew I wanted some payback for all of those suicides we ran. By being in great shape due to all of the running, we were able to beat some of the best teams around. Rest easy Coach. I WILL get that one on one game one day. I have always loved you and will always love you.
