Mr. Thomas Davis' Obituary
Thomas Ray Davis, age 65, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Thomas was born on January 11, 1952 in McMinn County, Tennessee to the late Nell Herbert Davis and Emma Sue (Gurley) Davis.
Thomas served his country for six years in the United States Army. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. Thomas had a great love for his family, especially his mother-in-law, who considered him as a son.
He was a devoted husband who when speaking of his wife, often said that she was the best thing that had ever happen to him.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by sister, Lorene Mitchell; brothers, Herbert Davis and CJ Davis.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debra G. (Brooks) Davis; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Brooks Williams. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
