Thomas E. Harrison's Obituary
HARRISON, Thomas E. “Gene” Age 86 of Nashville, TN passed away December 25, 2011. He was born in Nashville, TN to the late Homer and Esther A. Harrison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Marie Harrison and his brothers, Bill and Homer Harrison. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Danny) Hart; grandchildren, Ann Marie Bissinger and Andrea Yarbrough; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Christian Bissinger and Avery and Dallas Yarbrough. Gene lived a colorful life. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in Burma India as a member of the 96th Combat Maintenance Engineers. Gene loved his dogs, dancing, music and life. He will be remembered as a generous person who always lent a helping hand. Funeral services will be on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at 10AM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, where military honors will be presented.
