Thomas Jefferson Jamison's Obituary
JAMISON, Thomas Jefferson "Tommy" Age 74 of Goodlettsville, TN went home to be with the LORD October 16, 2010. Tommy was born in Murfreesboro, TN on April 5, 1936. He is reunited once again with his wife Edna R. Jamison; father and mother, Woodrow and Winnie Arms Jamison; brothers, Kenneth and Dennis Jamison. He is survived by his brother, Ed Jamison of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Dennis) Jamison of LaVergne; daughter, Sarah L. (George) Baker of Texas; step-daughters, Debbie (Mike) Kaufman of New Hampshire; Diane (Tim) Eckert of Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Cooner, Cameron and Raegan Kaufman, Jacob and Joseph Eckert. Tommy was a United States Airforce Veteran, an avid Bass and Crappie fisherman and a dove hunter. He loved the Chicago Cubs and followed them for over 60 years. He is loved and missed by all of his family, many friends and neighbors. In going home he leaves an emptiness in our hearts. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral ceremonies will be conducted on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 11AM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley Renee Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM and Wednesday from 10-11AM at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY
