Thomas Brady Richardson III's Obituary
Thomas was born in Nashville to Thomas Brady Richardson Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Summers.
Thomas was the proud father of four children: Thomas Brady Richardson IV (April), Stephen Brady Richardson (Lucy), Delilah May Richardson (Craig), and Bobby Green (Andrea). He was also a beloved grandfather to Cassandra Richardson, Anna Richardson, Candy Collins, Heaven Collins, Gabriel Vaughan, Abbigail Richardson, and Adrianna Richardson, and great-grandfather to Adriana Richardson.
He was preceded in death by Thomas Edward Richardson, Donnie Richardson, and Marilyn Richardson. He is survived by his siblings Norma, Sharon, Brenda, Beverly, and James.
Thomas was known for his humor, gentleness, resilience, and unwavering love for those around him. He loved animals and was rarely without a loyal companion by his side. His kind heart, easygoing nature, and ability to make others feel welcome left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Known affectionately as "Dude" to his grandchildren, Thomas took great pride in showing up for the people he loved. Whether it was attending marching band competitions, football games, school events, or simply offering a listening ear, his presence was a constant source of encouragement.
Thomas's greatest joy was his family. The bond he shared with his children was evident to all who knew them. The simple moments became the most meaningful, shared conversations, time together, and even the iced coffee drink that became something he looked forward to each day.
Thomas faced his final days with the same resilience that defined much of his life. He fought courageously until the very end, surrounded by the love of his family. On Father's Day, June 21, 2026, Thomas passed with those he loved most by his side. While his loss leaves an immeasurable void, his family takes comfort in knowing he was reunited with loved ones who had gone before him.
Dude was a simple man in many ways, but he loved deeply and wholeheartedly. His strength was not found in grand gestures, but in his steadfast devotion to family, his loyalty to friends, and his willingness to be there when he was needed most. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely.
Thomas is deeply missed and will forever remain a part of the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
