Thomas Wilburn Johnson's Obituary
Thomas Wilburn Johnson, age 89 of Nashville, TN passed away on the evening of June 19, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ona; and sister, Kathleen Johnson. Thomas served, as a young man, in World War II. He was an athletic instructor for the U.S. Navy at St Olaf College in Minnesota. He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn (Floyd) Fry, Ruth Thomas, Carmene Johnson and Sammie Appleton, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 12:30 P.M., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 P.M., Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Spring Hill Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice.
