Mr. Tony G Whittemore's Obituary
Tony G. Whittemore, age 62, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cordell and Lorrell Whittemore. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; one daughter, Amy Carmack (Donnie); one son, Christopher Whittemore; two sisters, Terri Sykes (Clay), Dorothy Miller; two brothers, Joel Whittemore (Thalia), Roger Whittemore; grandchildren, Chelsea Whittemore, William Clark (Kassie), Colby Whittemore, Tori Clark (Twan), McKenna Williams, Madison Williams, Tony Whittemore, Jacob Morales; great-grandchildren, Taiden Williams, Karslen Creek, Kingston Williams. Tony was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed, twisted tea, cookouts, trips to Gatlinburg, Dodge vehicles, just to name a few. Tony would help anyone in need, having never met a stranger. He and Vicki were high school sweethearts having met at Hume Fogg High School in 1973. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for Tony will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 from 5 PM until 8 PM and again on Friday, December 18, 2020 from Noon until 8 PM. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel led by Pastor Bobby Prescott. Pallbearers for the service will be Mike Carney, Mike Tabor, Mahmoud Selim, William Clark, Twan Fizer, Donnie Carmack. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
