Trudy Smith's Obituary
SMITH, Trudy- age 87, of Windermere, FL, passed away on July 14, 2010. Mrs. Smith was formerly of Goodlettsville and Brentwood, TN. She was born in Idaho on February 23, 1923, to Fred and Rosa Wieland. She grew up in Wisconsin, and in 1960, she moved with her husband, Chuck, to Arizona, where they lived for 15 years before moving to Tennessee. She resided in Tennessee for 25 years and spent her last 10 years of life in Florida. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters Shirley Layton of Roseville, CA, and Lauren (David) Burnette of Windermere, FL; son Jack (Nancy) Ault of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Frank (Rosalie) Layton of San Jose, CA; Staci (Russell) Brooks of Scottsdale, AZ; Bethany Burnette, Brandon Burnette, and Samantha Burnette of Windermere, FL; great-grandchildren Tyler Brooks, Jaden Brooks, and Annika Brooks of Scottsdale, AZ; sister Emma Krattiger of Monroe, WI; and many nieces and nephews.Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith; parents; six brothers, John, Walter, Fred, Albert, Carl, and Jacob Wieland; and sisters, Nelly Scheidegger and Elsa Rattin. A memorial service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, October 16th at 12:00 PM.
