Tudie Mae Lee's Obituary
LEE, Tudie Mae Horton of Nashville passed on Saturday, July 25, 2009; she was 91. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Arthur Lee; her brothers, Fred and Frank Horton. Mrs. Lee is survived by her son and daughter in law, Arthur H. and Jimmie L. Lee; daughter and son in law, Linda L. and James E. Lynch; grandchildren, Kimberly Lynch, Christina Hutson and her husband, Rev. Blake Hutson, Jeffery Lee, Jonathan Lee, Christopher Lee and his wife Kristin; sisters, Martha McSwain, Sara Moody and a brother, Jack Horton. Mrs. Lee was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church for over sixty years and was a member and President of the LLL Sunday School Class. She created a ministry delivering orchids to the sick and elderly. Mrs. Lee was a gracious executive's wife and was by her husband's side as he managed the construction of the first interstates in Tennessee and throughout the South. She was devoted to family, friends and church, always putting others first. The family will receive friends on Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd., Nashville from 6 to 8PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11AM with the Dr. Kevin Shrum and Bro. James Chatham officiating. Family will serve as Pallbeares. Visitation also on Tuesday one hour prior to service. Those desiring may make contributions to the "Living Waters Project" Otter Creek Church., c/o Jon Lee 5532 Heathstone Lane, Brentwood, TN 37027 Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
