Mr. Tulli A. Ferguson's Obituary
Tulli Ferguson of Mount Juliet, TN passed away January 6, 2017 at Summit Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father, songwriter Robert B. Ferguson; grandparents, Harvey Vanderpool and Ina Copeland Vanderpool.
Tulli is survived by his mother, artist Harvie June Vanderpool Ferguson; sister, Tivvi Ferguson, brother-in-law, Bryan; brother, Mark John; nephews, Damien “Doobie,” Kyle, Kevin; aunt and uncle, Captain Fate Vanderpool and Vera Cavet-Vanderpool; cousin, Lisa Vanderpool; Great aunts, Georgia Way, Katie Duncan; close family friend, Barbie Corrin; his four-legged, loving companion, Blanca; and numerous cousins.
Tulli lived a simple life but enjoyed all of life’s experiences. He worked at the Ramada for 22 years and Logan’s Roadhouse for 10 years. Tulli was a family man who was strong in his beliefs and faith. He was a big movie buff and loved country music. Tulli was proud to be of Native American heritage, and was accepted into the Mississippi band of Choctow Indians. Tulli was born in New Orleans, which will later become his final resting place. He touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Celebration will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2016 at 3PM. Visitation with the family will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10-3pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
