Tyler Joe Atkins, age 24, of Madison, Tennessee, was born November 26th, 1998 and passed away on September 6th, 2023. Tyler is survived my his Mother, Miranda Dodson-Haygood, father, Rocky Joe Atkins, his stepmother, Christy Flatt, his Stepfather, James Haygood, his brothers and sisters, Austin Atkins, Joshua Atkins, BreAnna Atkins, Hailey Haygood, Paul Keen, Shawn Keen, and Emily Cedillo-Keen, His Nephews; Xavier Atkins, Jaylen Atkins, Ayden Watson, Kingston Keen (KJ). Tyler is also survived by his great-grandfather, Ira Morgan, grandparents Donnie Dodson, Myra Davis, and Ronnie Atkins, and many aunts and uncles including Barbara & Timothy Atkins, many cousins and family friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandfather and great-grandmother, Leon Morgan "Papa Leon" and Mary Dorris Morgan "Nanny Dorris", his step-grandfather, Billy Flatt, his grandfather, Tracy Davis "Highway", his cousin, Brandon Grey, his grandmother, Charlotte Diane Atkins "Nanny Charlotte", and his step-grandmother; Beverly Flatt.
Tyler was a beloved son and brother. His life was characterized by a radiant smile that was a beacon of joy to all that knew him. Tyler's kindhearted nature and vibrant spirit had a significant impact on all those around him, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. Tyler was a one-of-a-kind a true Mama's Boy who loved his family and put them above everything. He was one with a young heart but a old soul. He enjoyed football and other sports, spending time with his family and friends, and Tyler was an amazing artist. He enjoyed music, reading books, and his favorite color was light blue. He was a amazing young man with so much potential. He was a wonderful son and loving brother whose life was taken way to soon. Rest easy in Heaven, Baby Boy.

Tyler's family invites friends and relatives to join them in a time of visitation at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 4pm-8pm. On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the family will receive visitors from 10am until 2pm, with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery to follow.
