Mrs. Valorie Potts' Obituary
Valorie May "Sissy" Potts, age 67, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her residence in Nashville, TN. Valorie was born on October 31, 1948 in Nashville, TN, to the late Bailey and Maybelle (White) Groves.
Mrs. Potts enjoyed listening to country music with one of her favorite songs being “She’s Got a Way with Words” by Blake Shelton. She always cherished greatly the moments that she would spend visiting with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Potts and a brother, James Ray.
Mrs. Potts is survived by her daughter, Wendy Taylor; grandchildren, Casey Machelle Taylor and Keegan Chase Taylor; special friend, Sherry Spann, a brother and a sister; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery located in Nashville, TN.
Serving as a pallbearer will be James Spann. Honorary pallbearers will include; Jimmy Dozier, Jimmy Adkins, Jeremiah Dill.
