Mrs. Velma Evelyn Thompson's Obituary
Velma Evelyn Thompson, of Madison, age 91, passed away July 24, 2013. Mrs. Thompson was born on May 30, 1922 to the late Joe Ingram and Mary Ann Moses Ingram. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Orvan Thompson; sons Steve (Kristin) Thompson and Barry (Tammy) Thompson; daughters Janet (Paul) Holley and Gayle (Tommy) Pauly; grandchildren Lisa Thomson, Kristina Mazzaferri, Christie Bledsoe, Derek Pauly, Emily Pauly, Ashley Pauly, Stephanie Thompson, Matt Jackson, Zach Thompson and Whitney Thompson; and great-grandchildren Laura Thomson, Cara Thomson, Matthew Pauly and Allie Jackson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 26th at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Myron Johnson and Pastor Wayne Long officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, July 25th from 4-7 P.M. and on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
