Verl Raymond Waddle's Obituary
WADDLE, Verl Raymond of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Sunday, May 09, 2010; he was 88. Mr. Waddle was employed in the insurance industry for many years as a claims adjuster. He was a Navy veteran and was stationed at Pearl Harbor during War World II. Mr. Waddle is preceded in death by his father and mother, Homer Elbert Waddle and Myrtle Lily Millsaps Waddle; his brother, Homer Elbert Waddle, Jr. and also his sister, Sylvas Iola Pendleton. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Madeline Gray Waddle; son, John Raymond (Terri Johnson) Waddle; daughters, Joan Marie Voss and Joyce Annette Holloway; sister, Leta Mae (Roy) Talbert; grandson, Brian Raymond Holloway and grand-daughter, Chelsea Nicole Waddle; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd, Nashville from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM with Rev. Gary Ferrell officiating. The Waddle family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving staff and friends of Pennington Place and NHC Hendersonville for all their care and support. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
