Mr. Victor Jordan's Obituary
Victor Willis Jordan, age 91 passed away Sunday April 17, 2016 in Nashville after a short illness. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Mary Leona Miller Jordan.
Mr. Jordan was the son of Thomas Dawson Jordan, Sr. of Glasgow, KY and Nell Doris Willis of Macon, GA.
Victor graduated from Isaac Litton HS class of 1943 in Nashville. After high school, Mr. Jordan served in the US Air Force during WWII and The Korean Conflict. Mr. Jordan retired from government service in 1988. Victor was a member of Madison Church of Christ.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his two daughters, Donna Gayle (Richard) Penney and Judith Melissa (Paul) Jackson,Jr. He is also survived by four grandsons, Mark Jordan Jackson, Sr., Matthew Tyler Penney, Richard Alan Penney, and Paul Thomas Jackson. In addition, Mr. Jordan is survived by eleven great-grandchildren, his brother Edward Lawrence Jordan and 19 nieces and nephews.
Victor is preceded in death by his twin brother, Vernon Thomas Jordan, and his sister Doris Jordan King, T.D. Jordan, Jr., and Lee Oliver Jordan.
Pallbearers will be Mark Jackson, Matt Penney, Rick Penney, Paul T. Jackson, Richard H. Penney, Paul L. Jackson, Jr., Ethan Penney, and Jordan Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2016 from 5-7pm and Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 11:30am-1:30pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, Nashville, TN .
