Virginia Fahey, 92
Virginia, Ginny to her family, was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on January 22, 1930 to Stanley A. Ranney And Ethel M. Ranney. She departed this life on September 25, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Stephen R. Fahey, Jr.; brother, Robert Ranney; sisters, Maxine Ranney and Frances Slightam; granddaughter, Morgan Hutcherson; son-in-law Richard Hutcherson. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Fahey and Sherrie Hutcherson; and grandson, Tyler Hutcherson.
She was a longtime member of Lockeland Baptist Church (now The Church at Lockeland Springs, a campus of Brentwood Baptist Church). She was active in The Bethany Sunday School class, the Women's Missionary Union and the Mature Moderns.
Special thanks to the staff and residents at White House Health Care for the love, friendship, and excellent care during her time there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Virginia, and sent to The Church at Lockeland Springs (formerly Lockeland Baptist Church), 1601 Holly St, Nashville 37206. Donations to the church will be used for the benefit of staff and families at Warner Arts Elementary School in East Nashville.
Visitation with family will be Thursday, September 29 from 5 to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 30 at 2pm, with visitation from 1 to 2. Burial to follow.
