Virginia "Gini" Williams' Obituary
Virginia Batson Williams, 72, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, sadly passed away on January 1, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Van Batson and Ione Erwin Batson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepfather, Harvey Abernathy; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Barnes and Bobby Barnes; and mother-in-law, Martha Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charlie Williams; brother, Sam (Judy) Abernathy; and several nieces and nephews.
Gini was an avid pet lover. She had the ability to make all animals feel welcome and loved. She loved to travel to the beach. She loved it whenever she could dip her toes in the water and the sand. Gini never met a stranger. She always made sure to include everyone around her. Above all, she loved her family. She was always there for them when they needed her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be visitation February 1, 2025, from 9 am until time of service at 10 am. Services will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 110 Fellowship Lane, Old Hickory, Tennessee 37138.
