Virginia Charlotte Leibfritz, 94, of Whites Creek, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Born May 18, 1925, in Franklin, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Jackson Beard and Era Allie Hartley Beard.
She was a former registered nurse at General Hospital in Nashville. Virginia had a big heart and devoted a lot of her time helping the homeless through the East Nashville Cooperative Ministry. In her spare time she loved playing BINGO and visiting yard sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Madel Leibfritz; sisters Alma Glass, Evelyn Coleman, and Sara Leply.
She is survived by her daughter Debra (John) Cook; sons Robert (Jerldine) Beard, Larry (Gloria) Beard, and Kenneth (Paula) Leibfritz; grandchildren Jessica Deakins, Jamie McFarlin, Robert Beard, Rhonda Richardson, Larry Beard, Johnathan Beard, Jacqueline Sprout, Kenny Leibfritz, and Brian Hibbs; great grandchildren Haley, Cody, Drew, Nate, Payton, Rylee, Ryan, and Zack; great-great grandchildren Maci and Maddie.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
