Virginia "Louise" Stewart's Obituary
Virginia “Louise” Stewart, 73, of Nashville passed away on Tuesday, November 11th. Although retired, Louise was still deeply passionate about her career as a dispatcher with Nashville Cab Company, where she proudly served for many years. She was an avid solitaire player and a crossword puzzle enthusiast; she loved sitting in her kitchen and talking on the phone, but above all else, she loved spoiling her grandchildren, being “Nanny” was absolutely her highest honor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Rena Miller Crow; one daughter, Lisa Webb; and 12 siblings.
Those left to cherish Louise’s precious memory, is her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Gary Stewart; 11 children, Jennifer (Timmy), Loretta (Chris), Gary Jr., Jeremy, Scottie, Carmen, Shawn, Jeanette, Charlie, and Ben; 36 grandchildren including caretaker, Brandi Waller; 23 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Crow.
Those serving as pallbearers are, Fred Waller, Chris Smith, Chris Hill, Terry Stewart, Mike Vandike, Matthew Crow, Ben Stewart, and Marcel Waller.
The funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, November 17th at 12:00pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home & will be officiated by Aubrey Vaughn.
