Mrs. Virginia Moore Tenpenny's Obituary
Virginia Moore Tenpenny of Old Hickory, TN passed away on April 15, 2020 in Davidson County. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Winford Douglas Tenpenny; parents, Harvey Moore and Mamie Harrison; sisters, Jean Owen, Mary Lois Holliman; and brother, Robert “Bud” Moore.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (David) Buzo, Diane (Steve) Wingo; sister, Annie “T” Brunker; grandchildren, Ian Bishop, Amanda Buzo (Nate) Woodward, David (Kate) Buzo Jr., Stevie Wingo; great-grandchildren; Sophia Woodward, David Buzo III, Elizabeth Buzo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a faithful member of Donelson View Baptist Church since 1959. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Virginia was strong in her faith and cherished her time with her family. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and tending to her flower garden. Virginia touched the lives of all who knew her, she will truly be missed.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
