Mr. W.A. Carr's Obituary
W.A. Carr, age 87 of Ashland City passed away on October 30, 2013. Mr. Carr was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather and a lover of horses. He served his country in the Army during World War II. He was born on October 21, 1926 to the late W.A. Carr, Sr. and Delia Harper Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Fykes. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mildred Carr; children, Judy (John) Sanders, Dennis (Brenda) Carr and David (Debbie) Carr; grandchildren, Tony (Cindy) Bowker, Brian Fisher, Chris Carr, Lindsey Sanders and Brittany (Adam) May; great-grandchildren, Dustin Bowker and Hannah and Andrew Fisher; and brother, Charles (Shirley) Carr. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 1st at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Creed officiating. Entombment will follow in the Spring Hill Serenity Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, October 31st from 4-8 P.M. and Friday two hours prior to the service.
