Wade Thomas Hunt's Obituary
Wade Thomas Hunt, 64, of Nashville, Tennessee, sadly passed away June 10, 2024. He was born December 30, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Carl T. Hunt and Faye Hunt Whiteside.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Fran Hunt, Patti Davidson; and brother-in-law Richard Davidson.
Wade is survived by his son, Dalton W (Abbey) Hunt; sisters, Carla Hunt and Janet Jones; nieces, Carol (Terry) Morris, Mandy (Sanders) Gammons, and Jessica Byrn; nephew, George Patrick (Dawn) Hunt; also, several great nieces and nephews.
Wade did many things to help serve his country. He was in the Air Force for 14 years and was a part of the Tennessee Highway Patrol for 19 years. One of his biggest achievements was that he was a part of the first graduating class of the Dare Program. He loved the interaction with the kids. Later in life, he became a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Braves and the Tennessee Titans. Most of all though, his blood ran orange. He was a huge fan of the Vols and would support them every chance that he got. Wade will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5 o'clock in the evening until 8 o'clock in the evening. The service will be Thursday, June 19, 2024 at 12 o'clock in the afternoon with visitation being two hours prior.
