Wainworth Alexander Whyte, a beloved soul who brightened every room he entered, has left us to dance among the stars on March 5th, 2024. Born in the vibrant heart of Jamaica to Joseph Whyte and Yvonne Ramsay, Wainworth brought the warmth of the Caribbean sun wherever he went. His infectious laughter, twinkling eyes, and zest for life made him the life of every party.
As a floor technician, Wainworth’s hands worked magic on the surfaces beneath our feet. He polished, repaired, and maintained with a diligence that mirrored his commitment to family. His family was the center of his universe. His love for them knew no bounds, and he reveled in their achievements, big and small.
But it wasn’t just his technical skills that defined him. Wainworth’s spirit was as kind as a gentle breeze, and his heart as vast as the ocean. He believed in the power of laughter, often sharing jokes and stories that had everyone in stitches.
Whether it was a backyard barbecue, a neighborhood gathering, or a simple evening at home, Wainworth was there, twirling partners on the dance floor, his laughter echoing through the night. His love for music of all kinds was the rhythm of his existence.
Wainworth’s legacy lives on in the memories we hold dear. As we say goodbye, let us celebrate the man who taught us to embrace life fully, to find joy in the simplest things, and to dance even when the music fades. May his laughter echo across the heavens, and may your spirit continue to light up our lives.
Wainworth is preceded in death by his grandparents Uncle Ramsay and Benessa Stewart. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Yvonne; fiancé Janice Henry; children Malika, Treyvian, Wayneworth, Randy, and Ron Whyte; siblings Everald Walker (Emily), Kasheka Kelly, Moorece Nixon, Dawnett Whyte (Wido Kelderman), Tameka Walker (Ricardo Mowatt), and Richard Kelly; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
