DRAPER, W.Y. “Buddy” Jr.
Age 86 of Hendersonville. Passed away in his home on January 27, 2021. Buddy worked for Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, TN for over 40 years where he retired as foreman.
He was an active member of the Nashville Catholic Community, attending and serving at St. Edwards, Our Lady of the Lake, and St. Joseph Catholic Parishes.
Buddy is survived by his sons, Terry Draper and Chris Draper; daughters, Pam Williams, Gay Pitt, and Donya Knight; grandchildren Kara Draper Randolph, W.Y. (Chase) Draper IV, Clint Williams, Blake Williams, Jordan Pitt, Wesley Ammons, Michael Knight, Jami Knight, Jacob Knight, Landon Draper, and Griffin Draper; and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers: Clint Williams, Jordan Pitt, Michael Knight, Jacob Knight, W.Y. (Chase) Draper IV, Landon Draper, and Griffin Draper.
Buddy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a caring friend to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Walton Young Draper, Jr. Interment at Spring Hill Cemetery.
