Mr. Walton Robinson's Obituary
Walton N. Robinson, age 79, went to be with Jesus on August 2, 2019. He was born June 21, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to Katherine Eloise and Otis Henry Robinson who both preceded him in death. Walton is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Theresa Giles Robinson, his sons Ronald Walton Robinson (Jane) of Smyrna, TN, Roger William Robinson (Jami) of Old Hickory, TN, daughters Robyn Robinson Newman (John) of Knoxville, TN, Rebecca Robinson Parsons (Cain) of Donelson, TN. He is survived by 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, Walt is also survived by his brother Ronald Henry Robinson (Mary) of Donelson, TN and his sister katherine Robinson Weber (Larry) of Donelson, TN. Walt grew up in Donelson, he attended grammar and high school there as well. Walt graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 1963 with a degree in engineering. After college his working career took him to the Ford Glass Plant where he retired after 37 years of service. Walt liked to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was an active member of Lincoya Hills Baptist Church. He served as a greeter until his illness kept him from attending church services.
Visitation will be from 10 P.M. to 1 P.M. Monday at the Lincoya Hills Baptist Church at 3143 McGavoch Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. Funeral service will follow at 1 P.M. with Rev. George Ibach officiating. Burial will take place Tuesday at 2:45 PM in the historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
