Mrs. Wanda Bernell Ayers' Obituary
Wanda B. Ayers, 84, of Carthage, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. Born October 26, 1936 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Butler and Janieve Truman Butler.
Wanda’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was very involved in their daily lives and loved them dearly. Those children and grandchildren would describe Wanda as being ‘spunky’, ‘full of life’, and will miss her and her wonderful desserts. Wanda enjoyed children so much that over the years she babysat for numerous families. She was also an animal lover who enjoyed caring for her horses and dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Freeman Ayers; son Clarence ‘Bubba’ Ayers, Jr.; brothers Robert Butler, Jr, Frank Butler, and Larry Butler; grandchild Tracey Pearl.
She is survived by her daughters Lavonne (Jamie) Davenport and Jackie (Virgil) Pearl; son Bryan (Wandie) Ayers; grandchildren Jason Ayers, Allen Ayers, Christopher Ayers, Tiffani Callender, Ciara Callender, Bryan Paul Ayers, Andrew Kosmack, Kyle Ayers, Patrisha Freshour, Kaleb Freshour, Trevor Hendry and Stacey (Aaron) Scalf; great grandchildren Mya, Declan, Nolan, Noah, Nova, Rhonin, Isaac, Talaiyah, Jack, Jamison, Trevor II, Tristan and Ashton; great great grandchild Granger; sister Ola (Thomas) Watson.
