Mrs. Wanda Fay Plant's Obituary
Wanda Fay Plant, age 74, of Nashville, passed away on June 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Juanita Vaughn; one son, Rodney Plant II. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gene Plant; two daughters, Christa Plant Crowder (Steven), Andrea Johnson (Larry); six grandchildren, Emilee Johnson, Gunner Johnson, Madalyn Plant, Cullen Johnson, Nathan Plant, Andrew Plant; a host of extended family and friends. Wanda was considered a teacher to all. She especially loved teaching people about Jesus and his plan of salvation. Wanda loved to provide for the poor and needy and was considered a mother to all. She was also a master gardener, loved animals and was a wonderful cook. Often times she would prepare food for people that were sick, elderly or shut in. Everyone called her “Meme”, due to her affectionate personality, grace and love for others. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
