Wanda Burnette Thomas' Obituary
Wanda Burnette Thornton Thomas, 91, of Smyrna passed away on Sunday, October 5th, 2025.
Wanda was born to Hershel and Ruby Thornton in Oak Grove, TN on February 12th, 1934. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Lydia Rutledge, Rosemary McCormick, and Opal Thornton; one brother, Hort Thornton.
She proudly obtained her high school diploma and spent many of her working years with AT&T as an administrator. She was a faithful member of Madison First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, everywhere from the mountains to Las Vegas! She was a fancy lady; she loved shopping, especially for good deals and a little bling.
Those left to cherish her loving memory is her son, Kenneth Thomas and Cookie Grisham, and one grandson, Jared Thomas.
