Warren D. Knox's Obituary
Warren D Knox, 75. Born August 19th, 1936, a Morris, IL resident. He was born into a close and loving family in Edenwold, TN. Passed away with love all around him on January 15th, 2012, after a long battle to cancer and kidney failure. He is survived by his wife, Roseann Watson Knox, his children Jeanne, (William) Locante of Franklin, TN, his son John Knox of Knoxville, TN and six grandchildren as well as eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his dearest Aunt Josephine Reeder of Madison, TN. six step children: Ken (Sue) Watson, Joretta Watson Allen, Jana (Carlos) Paez, Kevin Watson, Karl (Deanna) Watson, Kurt (Stephanie) Watson. There are 17 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchilren Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Hartmann Knox, his identical twin brother Joe Knox, his parents Martha and Warren Knox and his grandparents Joseph and Martha Hurt. Warren was very active in organizations concerning deafness. His paintings grace the walls of many places. He worked for newspapers throughout his life and was a huge fan of UT sports. He is going back home to his beloved Tennessee. Services and burial will be at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN. Visitation will be Friday, January 20th from 5 pm - 8 pm, Funeral service on Saturday, January 21st at 11 am.
