Mr. Wayne Crooms' Obituary
Wayne Crooms, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Wayne was born on May 8. 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Wayne loved to fish and was an avid fan/supporter of the San Francisco 49ers. He could talk horse racing with the best of them. Wayne was also known as a “handyman” and could help in any situation. Wayne was very spiritual. He was a member of the Baptist faith and never forgot to pray before his meals to give thanks. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Ethelene Sampson; his wife, Ingrid Crooms and brothers, Tyrone Crooms and Richard Crooms.
Wayne is survived by son, Alden Crooms; daughter, Tamara Crooms Bishop (Daniel); two brothers, Isiah “Ike” Sampson and Larry “Chuck” Sampson; grandchild, Alondrea Crooms; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Crooms is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 12pm until the time of service beginning at 1 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
