Mr. Wayne "Pops" Patterson's Obituary
Mr. Wayne "Pops" Patterson, age 72, passed away March 21, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Milburn Patterson, Ruby Patterson and Cathleen Aldana; son Bobby Smiley, brother Talmadge Patterson, and sister Billy Sue. He is survived by his wife Peggy Patterson; children Bart Dennis, Todd Patterson (Tracy), Kimberly Terrett (Kevin), and Shane Patterson; grandchildren Kendal Curlin, Michael Adams, Morgan Curlin, Amber Anglea, Lauren Baucom, Dalton Riley, Murphy Smiley, and Brittany Slate; great-grandchildren Hayden Baucom, Tyler and Blake Anglea, and Liam Alvarado; sisters Pam Baker, Becky Bullard, Carolyn Roberts and brother Ronnie “Pat” Patterson.
Wayne retired after many years of service with Bridgestone Tire Company. He owned and operated Pop’s Bar and Grill in Smyrna and Patterson Bail Bonds. He loved horses, hotrod cars, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered most for his true character, servant heart, and great sense of humor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Don Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Wednesday 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101, www.springhillfh.com.
