Wendell Roy Cargile's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Wendell Roy Cargile on January 22nd, 2023 in Madison, Tennessee. He was born on October 28th, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Wendell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. He was a proud retiree at Peterbilt Motors Company, and he worked for the State of Tennessee for 10 years before becoming a parts delivery specialist at O’Reilly Auto Parts. He had previously worked at HITT Electric Company in Goodlettsville and Morgan Electric of Hendersonville. He was a member of Madison First Baptist Church. He loved old cars, frequented car shows, and was especially proud of his dark blue Mustang convertible.
Wendell was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents James H. Cargile and Nannie E. McNabb Cargile, Wendell is preceded in death by his sisters Wanda Joy Cargile and Linda Chesser. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Marie Monhollen Cargile; son Jay Cargile (Angela); grandchildren Kelsey Cargile, Brady Cargile, and Crew Cargile; and a host of extended family and friends.
There are not any planned services at this time.
