Mr. Wilbur Wayne Hill's Obituary
Mr. Wilbur Wayne Hill, age 92 of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. He was born on January 16, 1927 to the late Harry and Anges Hill. He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Jeanne Hill, his son Richard Hill (Becky), his daughter Susan House (David), and his step-daughter Jana Williams. He is also survived by his grandchildren Eric and Tyler House, Bethany and Jeremy Hill, and his great-granddaughter Kollynns House. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law: Ed Woodroof (Frances), Paul Richard Woodroof (Anne), and Marty Woodroof (Patti), and his sister in law Treva Tate (Hiram), as well as his special neighbor and friend, Joe Ballinger.
Wayne was a great man. He was an adventurer, and he traveled most of the world during his thirty years in the United States Military. He spent 28 years in the Air National Guard, and two years in the Navy. He loved photography and enjoyed taking photos of anything he could. Wayne was also an avid sports fan, he was a pitcher in fast pitch softball, and especially loved watching University of Tennessee Football.
A visitation for Wayne will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 10am-2pm, with a Graveside Service in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery at 2pm.
