Mr. Wilbur Morris' Obituary
Wilbur Carlile Morris, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Wilbur was born on December 20, 1924 in Ceralvo, Kentucky to Clarence Perry and Zula (Bratcher) Morris.
Mr. Morris served his country in the United States Navy Air and was active in the American Legion. He enjoyed helping veterans receive the benefits that they deserved and fishing. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; son, Kenneth Morris; and his daughter, Dawn Gray.
Wilbur is survived by daughters, Vicki Morris, Donna Ramsey (Teddie) and Linda Capps (Jimmy); host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 10am until the time of service beginning at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Joshua Morris, Ben Morris, Tim Capps, Cody Chambers, Tim Short, and Daniel Short.
