Wilburn Leon Bradley Jr.'s Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Wilburn Leon Bradley Jr., [53], of Hendersonville, Tennessee, on January 13, 2023. Wilburn, or more commonly known as Bubba, passed peacefully surrounded by family.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents Wilburn and Patsy Bradley. He was born on April 21st, 1969, in Hendersonville, TN. He is survived by his two sons Collin and Connor Bradley and his ex-wife/best friend Kristi Bradley. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Burton and her daughter Katie Burton.
Bubba was a man who never knew a stranger. He had this way of meeting and speaking with you as if you had known each other your whole lives. If you had something to say and an ear to listen with, he could have a conversation with you for hours. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Dallas Cowboys, and Vanderbilt Commodores, and spent many days, nights, and weekends cheering on, or yelling at, his favorite teams. You always knew Bubba was there from his larger-than-life voice and his vibrant personality. He loved all sports but was especially fond of baseball, softball, and bowling. He would often be seen at vintage base ball games, slow pitch softball games, or the bowling alley; usually watching his two sons participating in one of the three. He made it his mission to be there for his two boys for anything from the time they were old enough to crawl to the time they were big enough to throw him over their shoulder and carry him away as he would say.
Bubba was truly one of a kind and there will never be another one like him. He loved his cousins, aunt, uncles, and all other family and friends deeply. He was a joy to be around and could light up a room with his boisterous laugh. He will be deeply and truly missed.
The family will receive guests for a visitation on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
