Mr. Wiley Ray Burton's Obituary
Wiley Ray Burton, 75 of Albany Kentucky passed away in Nashville, TN on November 9, 2020. He was born on December 28, 1944 in Bluefield, West Virginia the son of Willie and Thelma (Umberger) Burton both of whom preceded him in death.
Ray was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a gentleman and loved his family dearly. Ray was always there to help a neighbor in need, he was a very giving man. He would always send beautiful heartfelt birthday and Christmas cards. He prayed for us everyday and his depth of affection will be missed. Rays quote that he lived by was “I may not always be happy, but I am always grateful.” That is how he will always be remembered as a grateful and content man.
Ray is survived by his sisters Vicki Campbell (Hank), Joyce Craft, Barb Clinton (John), Dixie Braun (Todd), Linda Brinson (Clay). He is also survivied by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Steven Burton and Gleniss Burton.
