Mr. William Elbert Castello's Obituary
William Elbert Castello, age 70, of La Vergne, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at home. Billy was born on September 4, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Elbert Castello and Gladys Canaday.
Billy was an avid fan of University of Tennessee football and the NFL’s Tennessee Titans. He was a loving father and grandfather who thought the world of his grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughters Tyanna Walden, Gidget (David) McCann, Missy Glasner and Tina (David) Briley; sons William (Lindsey) Castello, Donnie (Kim) Cooke and Joey Silva; grandchildren Coty, Meag, Shyanne, Kayla, Gracie, Austin, Gage, Lexie, Ryan, Zack, Hailey and Bailey; great-grandchildren Daxton and Scarlett.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 28 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
