William “Jack” Earls, Sr., 79, of Fairview, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born January 16, 1943, in Nashville, he was the son of the late Cecil Earls and Juanita Sue Lawson Earls.
Jack retired from the Nashville Fire Department following 30 years of faithful service. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Jack was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be missed dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lillian Perry and Lennis Dye.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Evelyn Joyce Earls; son William Jack (Kathy) Earls, Jr.; sisters Jean Chaney and Linda Hager; grandchildren Kayla and Katelyn; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, July 1 at 1 pm. Family will receive friends and visitors from 10 am until 1 pm on Friday. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Michael J. Fox Foundation
