Mr. William Howard "Sonny" Guthrie's Obituary
William Howard “Sonny” Guthrie, age 58, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. Sonny was born on February 23, 1962 the son of Herman and Mary (Maples) Guthrie.
Sonny was hard worker who took pride in his carpentry work. He was a very talented and creative handyman who could build anything with his hands. He also enjoyed fishing in his free time. Sonny had a big heart and would never hurt a fly. Sonny loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Sonny is survived by his mother Mary Bailey, stepfather Oscar Bailey, son Brandon Benson (Jordina), three sisters Nancy Wooten (Ben), Rita Donald (Wendell), Mary Moreno (John), brothers Tommy Guthrie (Marlena), Dwight Guthrie (Donna), Charles Guthrie (Susan) and Billy Taylor. Sonny is also survived by his grandson Bryce Benson and 17 nieces and nephews and 23+ great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Herman Guthrie, his sister Debbie Judkins and his brother Wayne Guthrie.
