William Robert (Buddy) Hoover, Jr

Preceded in death by his mother, Erma Hoover Sullivan; grandparents, William B and Gertrude Hoover and Roy and Dee Graves.
Survived by his father, William R (Donna) Hoover and sister, Kimberly Hoover (Jeff) Young. Fiancé, Robin Hixon. Nephews and niece, Vince (Christen) Young; Andy (Angela) Young and Mary Claire (Jacob) Keller. Great nieces and nephews; Anderson and Amelia Young; Hadley, Vera and Jake Keller. Also survived by many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.
Buddy was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He attended Goodpasture Christian School, Hendersonville High School and Nashville State Technical College. He moved to Florida as an adult and owned Hoover Heating and Air serving the greater Tampa Bay Area.
Buddy and Robin enjoyed taking trips on cruise ships and he loved to scuba dive. They also enjoyed bowling, outings on their boat and spending time with their many friends. He and Kim enjoyed many hours of shelling on various beaches along the Gulf coast. He was loyal to his Tennessee Volunteers and pulled for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Buddy never met a stranger and would go the extra mile to help a friend in need. He was well loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10 am - 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
