Mr. William Massey's Obituary
William F. Massey, age 80, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at The Vanco Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goodlettsville, TN. William was born on May 14, 1936, in Macon County, TN to Oscar J. and Navie (Hudson) Massey.
Mr. Massey served his country in the US Army. He was an avid reader; he would go to the library often to get books to satisfy his love for reading. He enjoyed cutting his grass and he was an honest, quiet gentleman whom cherished the life that he had been given to live.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by several siblings.
William is survived by sisters, Dorothy Reavis and Mary Massey; he is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 1:00-1:50pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with graveside services to follow beginning at 2:00pm at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
