William Carmack Meadows' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Carmack "Mack" Meadows on July 12th, 2022. He was born in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late John Henry Meadows and Ludy Odessa (Daugherty) Meadows on October 28, 1941.
Mack was a U. S. Navy Veteran who proudly served his country. He was a retired member of the Middle Tennessee Carpenters Local Union 223. Mack enjoyed spending time with his family, and it brought a smile to his face when an old friend would call or come by to visit. Mack and his wife Barbara never met a stranger. They were always there to help a friend or stranger in need. Both are remembered for their humor, great food, generosity, and giving hearts throughout their lives.
Mack is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years Barbara Sue Meadows; parents John and Ludy Meadows; stepson Paul H. Shoulders; brothers John H. Meadows and Charles N. Meadows; and sister Mary Ethel Daugherty. He is survived by his children Jackie Meadows, Sally Meadows, Donna Meadows, and Tina Jo Baltz (Mickey); sisters Margie Lee Cornwell (Robert) and Irene Krantz (Billy); dear friends Tim Ray and Mike Lawrence; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests for visiting hours from 4:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will also take place on Thursday, July 21st, 2022 from 10:00-2:00pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a chapel service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately take place at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
