William Melvin Robinson's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Robinson. He was born to the late James Pleas and Hazel Flo Jean Pleas Heginbotham Robinson on Valentine’s Day of 1948.
Bill was a Vietnam veteran, having served his country proudly. He enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his lush vegetable garden. He especially had an affinity for tomatoes. He was an amazing cook and a well-known jokester amongst his circle of family and friends. He was a true family man, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel. He is survived by his loving wife Linda; son Nathan Robinson (Amanda); stepdaughters Sharon Baker and Angela Brown (Randy); grandchild Ryleigh Robinson; step-grandchildren Michael Brown, Kyndal Brown, Alexis Cisco, and Daniel Cisco; sister Teresa Fly (Wesley); niece Jeana Barnes; nephew Bill Crowley; ex-wife Terry Robinson; and dear family friends Derek, Stacey, and Tommy “Top Cat.”
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at Spring Hill Funeral Home from ten o’clock to twelve o’clock. A funeral service will commence at twelve o’clock at Spring Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow at Nashville National Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
