William Bernice Young Sr.'s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. William "Bill" Bernice Young, Sr. on November 10th, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bill was born on March 3rd, 1932, in Gainesboro, Tennessee. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and a loving husband, father, son, uncle, godfather, and friend. His kind and wonderful spirit will be missed by all.
Bill is survived by his daughter Helen Venable; godson Michael Schutt; grandchildren Brandon Venable, Nick Venable, Camron Schutt, Amelia Schutt, Michael Schutt, and Ethan Schutt; nephew James Young; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family invites guests and relatives to join them on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, for a celebration of life visitation beginning at one o'clock in the afternoon, and a memorial service to follow at two o'clock in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Bill will be laid to rest at a later date at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Final arrangements for Mr. Young, Sr. are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
