Mr. Willie Lee Davenport's Obituary
Willie Lee Davenport passed away on April 25, 2017 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Davenport, Martha Davenport; brother, Ricky Davenport; sisters, Jo Gray, Wilma Jones, Gwen Ray, Deborah Osaile; and his loving, four-legged companion, Rambo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Davenport; sons, Tim (Darlene) Davenport, Jamie (Kathy) Russell; daughter, Tina (Chris) Hester; brother, Hansel Davenport; sisters, Eva Gray, Shirley Rainey, Ruby Smith; Grandchildren, Brandon Davenport, Johnny Lee Sullivan, Christopher Sullivan, Michael Sullivan; Timothy Russell, Amanda Russell; 5 great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Gladys Jenkins.
Willie was a loving and kind man who always enjoyed time spent with his family. He enjoyed working with his hands and spent most of his life working as a carpenter. Willie enjoyed being outside, fishing and deer hunting. He was a NASCAR fan and loved dancing with his wife. Willie loved all his children as if they were his own flesh and blood. He was a wonderful man and will truly be missed.
Visitation with the family will be held on April 27, 2017 from 3-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on April 28, 2017 at 12-noon with a two hour visitation prior.
