Mrs. Willie Bernice Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Willie Bernice Wright Smith, age 93, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus and reunited with her husband William John Smith on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The Vina, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Asa Alexander and Alice Farrington Wright. She was a former resident of Inglewood and long-time faithful member of Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, and gardening. Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Arthur) Hooper and Melinda (Steve) Gaines; two nieces, Bernice Cork and Diana Mills; a nephew, Foy Wright. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Butcher officiating. Burial will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery
